SARASOTA, Fla. - The Nova Southeastern Sharks Rowing team competed in the Sunshine State Conference Championship at Nathan Benderson Park. The Sharks placed fifth overall, competing in the varsity-four and varsity-eight races. Emma Hickey was recognized to the All-Sunshine State Conference team, while Milli Murphy was named to the All-Freshman/Novice Team.  

In the varsity-four race, the Sharks placed fourth with a time of 8:36.3 seconds. NSU's crew consisted of Anaiya Person (coxswain), Charlotte Johannesen, Julianna Becerra, V. Robinson, and Triumph Perry.  

The varsity-eight boat for NSU, featuring, Daphne De Sedas (coxswain), Margianna Petridi, Emma Hickey, Hattie Gump, Milly Murphy, Kayla Mullings, Jordan Maruskin, Amanda Bogle, and Mollie Ireland finished with a time 7:19.7.
